Physiofit at Home
Physiofit at Home aims to provide specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment for patients of all ages in your own home or nursing home. We will address any physical symptoms that may have occurred due to surgery, injury or a combination of health issues.

We offer a wide range of expertise across our team of experienced physiotherapists. We are able to offer treatment for the following conditions:

Treatment for arthritis, aches and pains including pain management

Back care

Osteoporosis

Falls prevention sessions to improve balance and confidence

1:1 Functional MOT – learn which specific areas you need to target to stay fit

Treatment for mobility issues and walking aid assessments

Exercises for strength, balance, posture and flexibility

Rehabilitation following general surgery, orthopaedic surgery or after a stay in hospital or following an illness

Neurological conditions including: Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis,

Respiratory physio for asthma, breathing problems and shortness of breath

Physiofit covers homes within 7 miles of our business address. We may be able to accept patients further afield with a small increase in fee to cover the additional time and travel costs incurred.

How Can I Access the Service?
You do not need a doctor’s referral to receive treatment from Physiofit at Home. However, if you wish to claim on insurance they may require a doctor’s referral and so it is best to check with them first.

Appointments are available 5 days a week and by arrangement at weekends.
What Are the Treatment Costs?
Initial assessment and treatment £80.
​
Follow up treatments £60.
​
For long term treatment, packages can be agreed directly with Physiofit.
Payment & Insurance Options
Patients with insurance will generally need a doctor’s referral to see a physiotherapist. It is the patient’s responsibility to ensure their insurer will cover a home visit. On production a valid claim number Physiofit will claim the treatment charge directly with your insurer.

Self-Pay patients can simply pay on the day by Cheque, Cash or Credit Card.
